Fast Fry Wall — Restaurant in North Tyneside

Orderd 2 pizzas, chips, 2 chili sauces and 2 garlic at aprox 6:30pm. Was given a delivery time of between 7:10 to 7:30 on Uber Eats. That time came and gone, requested updates about the delivery but got no response. Rang back at 8:25pm to find that my order had not even been cooked and I would have to wait at least another 20 to 25 mins. Although I wasnt very happy I said no problem. Waited and waited on no order till it eventually turned up at 9:05pm. When I checked my order I was missing a garlic sauce. I rang them explaining this to be told I would have to wait at least another 30 minutes for my garlic sauce. I was asked what I wanted them to do about the error, and although my pizza would be cold by the time my sauce came they would send me a new pizza. I asked them to send my sauce out as I had paid for it and I am still waiting at 11pm at night. Although the food is nice the delivery is shocking. i had been ordering from fast fry for months. never had any real issues until last night. placed my order around an hour before closing, they confirmed it and gave an estimated arrival time of 1:50am-2:10am. considering the restaurant closes at 2am and it still hadn’t arrived i tried to call them and the phone just rang with no response. i keep trying to call them until 3am and got nothing. so i ended up ordering from somewhere else and going to sleep. when i check about disputing the order through uber, fast fry have lied to uber eats and marked the order as delivered at 4:21am… i expect a full refund of £35 for this dishonesty. how come there was nobody to answer the phone but someone there to fraudulently mark the order as fulfilled almost 3 hours after the order was placed and 2 hours after they had closed? if i don’t get my refund from uber i will be coming down in person to discuss this… absolutely appalling service. Had cod and chips from Fast Fry for the first time tonight, and devoured every mouthful till there was nothing left. The (jumbo) cod was indeed a whale-sized piece, that paired lovely with the large portion of (proper chip shop) chips. To top it off, I also had one of their cheese patties, which was equally as delicious. There was nothing left on the plate after I had finished. 100% recommended. Delivery was prompt and the food was hot and fresh.

Been meaning to try Fast Fry for their pizzas for ages, after hearing good things, and just got round to it tonight. I can assure you, their pizzas are delicious!
