Advised after buying my beer by the member of staff behind the bar that Mobile phones are not allowed in the pub. Now I know plenty of people whilst waiting for friends to meet up will be on their phones so I could not understand the rule and enquired why? Because Mr Smith( Brewery) said so ..ok promptly finished my pint and left to spend my money in the much more welcoming Taphouse along the road. All my friends from work joined me their instead. People run businesses from their phones these days what a stupid and outdated rule and the attitude and response to my question from the lady behind the bar will ensure I wont frequent the place again! Added to that a couple of friendly locals taking the piss out of another customer because he had a beard let's you know what type of place...
