Wooden Deli — Restaurant in North Tyneside

I mean come on... does it get any better than this.. I was so zoned out by the smell of the food I actually tripped over the step on the way in.. then after been non verbal for what felt like 20 minutes as I starred at the menu in amazement I finally made my choice. The judge burger it is. Go big or go home. But then I realised I was at work and it was only 10am.. so the chicken licken hot baguette won the battle in my mind.. it was tremendous I may say. Whats not to like.. chicken, gooood. Mozzarella, goood. BBQ saaas, gooood. Jalapeños, wowzas... And this dream continued as my work colleague Little Tracey was sitting opposite me with The Bombay hot baguette. I could tell she was struggling to finish this beast of a sarnie. She took one last bite followed by a puff of the cheeks, she looked at me a said... im stuffed, would you like the other half of this... You bet my love, as I snatched it out of her hands before she changed her mind. And let me tell you.. That one was just as delightful as mine.

After all the good reviews we'd read, we were disappointed with the breakfast. AFTER we'd ordered we were told there was no mushrooms and we'd be given an extra instead, which turned out to be disappointing tinned tomatoes. Those that had the full breakfast were given one fried egg, whilst those on the light option were given two, which was clearly the wrong way round. The toilets were disgusting; the worst I have seen anywhere in many a year. As I was paying I was asked if everything was ok, and when I said about each of the above, she just said 'yes' as if to say 'I know, but that's the way it is', no such thing...

When yesterday for breakfast,not very nice .Egg hard and rubbery, black pudding nasty,sausages no meat,bacon ok .The only thing is was nice was the toast.Coffee very strong needed 4sugars.Quite a grumpy p!ace needs a good clean and coat of paint. Read the reviews for this place all good they must be from somewhere else.Definitely not going back .£15.90 for 2 breakfast would you .Hash brown soggy. Mushrooms raw beans and Tom's ok because out of a tin. Not good enough...
