I recently had the pleasure of dining at Umai Mi Bento, an exceptional sushi Asian food restaurant that left an indelible mark on my taste buds and overall dining experience. From the moment I stepped through the doors, it was evident that this establishment goes above and beyond to provide an unforgettable culinary journey.

Ordered the make your own Bento box... The beef chow mein was the worst I've ever tried, and after one mouthful I couldn't eat any more and had to chuck it away. The char siu fried rice was absolutely full of oil and was sitting in approximately 2cm of oil in the foil tin it arrived in and was similarly disgusting and after a few mouthfuls I had to dispose of it. Thankfully the starter items were okay so I at least could eat something that I'd paid for, but it was by far the worst takeaway experience I've had in recent memory. Would not recommend unless you like your food swimming in fat. Plenty of better options for Chinese in Newcastle above this, don't waste...

Really great service by staff, shame I can't say the same about the food :( Maybe you should reduce your menu options to allow you to improve the quality of the food itself - I was a little overwhelmed by the choice but went for the "Make your own Bento box" and picked what I thought I would enjoy. The fried food is very oily, too much for my stomach. Sushi burrito is a great idea, I did enjoy that. The egg fried rice had like one piece of egg in it which was a bit disappointing.
