Wow, what a find! Perfect little cafe in Kegworth. Coffee is top drawer, cakes are amazing. I had the carrot cake which can be so hit and miss but here it was amazing. Told they were all home made and you can honestly tell! The rest of the food that we saw coming out of the kitchen looked amazing as well. Dog friendly as you can see from my picture. Nice chilled music playing in the background; basically a little slice of heaven in Kegworth; I’d give it six stars if I could!!

I highly recommend The Hidden Gem Kitchen. First visit in the COVID secure world and I loved it. It's kept it's charm as a small family run cafe, while the clear screens, hand sanitizer etc meant it felt safe. The food was as delicious as ever - we had breakfast this time, a mix of veggie and meat eaters and we all enjoyed it. We booked over facebook messenger, which was super easy.

A hidden Gem indeed. Its a small little cafe, one of the few in the area that has indoor seating and a toilet. It is cosy (four tables from memory) but the staff are friendly, the tea and coffee's nice. Oh and the Lemon Curd Cake was delightful. All cakes home made, apparently. Well behaved dogs allowed inside. Car parking along the road as there are no restrictions.

Hidden Gem Kitchen is a great little local cafe. the owner is a trained chef and the food served at the cafe is usually great quality. the menu consists of cooked breakfast items, baguettes, paninis, omelettes, and salads. There are usually a couple of lunchtime specials available that change from week to week. The food is cooked to order. So there is usually a slight wait between placing your order and receiving your food. Different dietary requirements can be catered for including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free. There is a wide selection of drinks including different coffees, different teas, hot chocolate, milkshakes, smoothies, and soda drinks. there is also a good selection of homemade cakes including a vegan cake and gluten free brownies. Afternoon tea can be arranged but needs to be pre booked. the cafe can also provide buffets and other forms of catering for small local events...

An excellent find. We were planning a trip north and needing to find a halfway pitstop that catered for vegans and was dog friendly. I sent an enquiry on a Sunday evening and got a reply from Martin nit long after. He even kindly reserved a table for us even though our arrival time was subject to traffic. When we arrived we had a warm welcome. The food and drink were great quality and very reasonably priced. Great value for money. This is definitely a go to place next time we are travelling on the M1....
