Spent a utterly indulgent afternoon here whilst home for a visit with family. The whole experience was delightful, from entering to be met with a mouthwatering array of cakes, buns and savouries at the counter to the welcoming, efficient and helpful staff to be led upstairs ( busy ground floor seating was packed)while taking in the AMAZING ecellectic decor ( understatement!) Seated at our table by a friendly customer assistant, given our menus and left to settle and decide which of the wide range of drinks, hot or iced ( cotton candy is the work of a fully paid up member of the Willy Wonka society..not just seen to be believed but a full on iced coffee sensation not to be missed) my brother had a gingerbread latte which was Christmas in a long glass, topped with the sweetest Christmas coco stencil... my sip( all I was allowed) was delish! Our friend had an Americano worthy of the name. Her soup of the day would have fed a family, full and hearty vegetables served with wheaten bread. Brother took the recommended chistmas dinner sandwiches, even had gravy for dipping! His smiling face and empty plate said it all ! My Brie and cranberry sandwiches on corse brown bread with green side salad really hit the spot taste wise, salad dressing a refreshing surprise too. I highly recommend! We 'treated' ourselves to a selection of homemade pastries ( been rude not to) along with coffee top ups. All in all the environment, staff and menu were definitely worth the drive from Belfast, and beyond, we will be back for more, with...
Read moreMy friend and I were in seventh Heaven last Thursday 21 November and the more I have thought about our experience the more annoyed I get and feel people should be aware. We had a lovely welcome and ordered from the menu and our food came not long afterwards, however when I went to lift the teapot I found it too heavy and my friend lifted it to pour out our tea and as soon as she lifted it the handle broke and the tea pot smashed and the tea went everywhere, the assistant came over and told us to move our food to another table and we would get fresh tea. He did ask were we ok but in hindsight thankfully no one was hurt but I have to say the customer care was very disappointing to say the least and customers who witnessed the incident commented how gracious we were as we didn’t make a fuss. As these tea pots are old just be careful in case it happens to...
Read moreWhen visiting 7th Heaven we where greeted by a member of staff and shown to our table asking what we would like to drink while showing us the wide range of excellent menu. Both my husband and myself asked for something that was not on the menu as One dish, But the staff went out of their way and arranged for our request to be delivered, pouched eggs with salmon and scrambled eggs with salmon, I had a cappuccino and Vittorio a peppermint tea. The presentation of both dishes where outstanding, So much so I had to take a picture or two to show other's, friends, and family. While visiting several other places in the hospitality sector as a Pub spy critic I can assure you! This quaint establishment is well worth a visit with excellent quality, value, service, and Atmosphere Giving a five...
