Bellevue Arms — Restaurant in Northern Ireland

Had booked a 3pm meal today to celebrate my father's 92 nd. Birthday and what a great choice, staff decor ambience and food 11 out of ten was greeted by Maria who was so friendly and curtious ,took us to our window seat,we were then treated by the most professional waitress called Diana who was so witty and friendly to my father when she heard it was his birthday,,she really made the day for us my family were equally impressed (7 of us in total)we had 3course s and all were served very promptly by a lovely team of waitressess and I must comment on the quality of the food which was beautifully presented and all piping hot all complement s to the kitchen staff and chefs. I would just like to give a big hand to all the staff and management of the bellevue for making our day out such a pleasure for all my family and on behalf of all my brothers and sisters and 92year old father many many thanks for making are day out so special . ...

Myself and husband just had a meal here in the Bellevue. My husband had mushrooms for starter and it's states on the menu complementary garlic dip but on the bill we were charged 50p. We had our starter which was lovely then we waited and waited and waited for our main the waitress looked at us as she walked past then came back and said your wee meal won't be long. So yes they had forgotten about us so around 40mins after our starter we got our main. My husband had steak and was asked what side he wanted he had chips. I had peri peri chicken and again asked what side I wanted i said salad. Again it was enjoyable. When the bill had come they had charged 50p for the garlic dip and £8 for the 2 sides my husband said that the sides came with main it said on the menu but I hadn't read it so I didn't say anything. The thing that really annoyed me was NOT one person apologised for us having to wait so long. So disappointed yes...

Reserved table for 6 for family meal. Lovely setting beside large window. Service was fast and food was lovely. Large portions also. Plenty to choose from. Drinks well presented and price was 25 pounds for a two course. Dessert was separate. Deinks lroced as you would expect. Only complaint about that was my pavlova was swimming in a puddle of strawberry sauce n very sickening. Sons pavlova appeared fine 🙂 I have given 4 stars as one of the waitresses was not very nice. Mature woman with dark hair who was less than friendly when taking food order. She was rude and unsmiling and was very obvious as one of my sons noticed also. Seemed to come round later but think that was even forced. Maybe she was having an off day but it made the meal a bit uncomfortable and for some reason she hovered a lot. Would put me off going back to be honest. All in all couldn't fault the meal. Thanks...
