Bennetts — Restaurant in Northern Ireland

Feel free to discredit this due to it being a while ago (kept forgetting to post this) Over the summertime me and my partner came in for a lunchtime feed and the tall girl serving us seemed a bit abrupt and standoffish. I ordered the Chilli con carne with rice and chips, got it before under the old management and was lovely. Food came out with no chips, didn't say anything thought she was bringing it out shortly due to her hands being full. 10 minutes later after passing us I asked her about them and she said no you don't get chips with it, despite the chalkboard that was out when we ordered saying with chips (funny it mysteriously dissappeared shortly before our food came out) and them posting the same lunchtime specials on Facebook that said it included chips but of course with the signal being so bad inside I couldn't pull that up to show her (I checked when I got home and it definitely said with chips incase you think I've got dementia lmao) Whole experience felt like it was personal? She was quite rude about it and neither of us had seen her before in our lives. I even stopped the lovely older gentleman you always see working here about it and he even confirmed it comes with chips and was just as confused and promised to sort me out with the chips next time I'm in but honestly I haven't been back since after seeing so many others have similar odd experiences etc. Hopefully this has changed since then but I've no clue. Was probably eating my chips in the back or something. Went in place empty apart from one other party of 4. Sat down greeted menu board of specials brought up and ordered to non alcoholic drinks. Came to take order v quickly weren’t ready no bother but alas bar filled up forgot to call back take our order for at least 20 mins passed asked for bill. Definitely racism, they only let local people in, depends who is in charge. The manager was at the door tonight and he was letting in only the local people. Tried to go out with my friends from here and I had to go home while they got in. The reason was "only tonight, we will let only regulars in".
