Chillis Indian Restaurant — Restaurant in Northern Ireland

There were only 2 other people in the restaurant when we arrived and it still took an hour to be served our main courses. The food tasted okay but I ordered veg madras and I asked if the veg was fresh or frozen. I was told it was fresh which is why I ordered it but when it came out it was clearly a frozen veg mix and I don't know what the sauce was but it wasn't madras, it wasn't even a tomato based sauce, more like gravy and no spice or heat to it. The glasses on our table were not only dirty to look at but sticky to touch and we asked for clean glasses. The waitress took the dirty ones and put them back on the shelf with the other 'clean' ones. She didn't even attempt to pretend they would be cleaned. There were 2 waitresses working and when 2 people at the table ordered drinks they would bring one then wait another 5 minutes before bringing the other. And at this point there was noone else in the restaurant except us 3. Definitely won't be back and would not recommend. It wasn't cheap for the quality of food and...

Nothing but garbage. mutton biriyaani was the worst I've ever tasted. chicken curry was nothing but Onion tomoatto sause. Mutton pieces were so hard and hard to eat. How on earth these people are running a business in the name of Indian restaurant I don't understand. Biriyaani should have spices like ginger, garlic, corriander, mint, green chillie, cinnamon,cardamom,turmeric, cumin, nutmeg, star anise, bay leaves etc....I could not smell nothing, not a sinlge spice. I wish I can teach these so called restaurants how to cook reall Indian food. These people are frauds who make money in the name of food. Its not about money but about quality. Shame on the people who are running this third class business. Never cheat people when it come to food. I wish they read this review. If this same food would have been served in India...their business would have been shut in 24 hours. People who know what is Indian biriyaani, chicken curry will never order food from this third...

We went there with our baby and they asked if we need baby chair we said yes and they provided a chair which was dirtiest in every way every food stain was there, and irony is my baby was fell from the chair because the stand was not fitted very well, come on a restaurant does not have a babay chair when we told about the incident they said we are sorry we have only one chair !!!!!! Seriously 😖😖😖😖 and then food we waited for almost 40 minutes to serve and there were not many customers two or three tables were full and it was not peak hours as well …. Food was ok not that great all things were overly sweet.
