I ordered food for the kids 02/021 via the Just eat app at 16.24, estimated Order was between 17.00 and 17.20, whilst this was a long wait I was happy with this and had no issues with the ETA. 17.00 I was notified via the app that the Driver had food and was on his way. 17.20, No food but the app advised that the Order completed advising me to enjoy my food but no food arrived! This was concerning but at this stage was willing to give the benefit of the doubt. I waited to 17.30 and then called and spoke to Aimee as was concerned I was not going to receive the order, Whilst Aimee was polite and friendly she was very inexperienced in advocacy and couldn't reassure me or deal with my specific complaint. She advised that Canice was the supervisor and was also the delivery driver so take my complaint up with him. 17.39 still no order so I called again to cancel the Order. At this stage A man in a white van with a very long beard appeared, I asked if he was Canice in which he did not reply. I advised him I cancelled the order with the Store and how do I get a refund. I must say I have never dealt with someone more rude and arrogant. Canice was supposed to be representing this Brand and Shop but instead without even acknowledging me turned to get back into his van, I continued to ask him questions and asked if he could deal with my complaint. I was calm and my tone was friendly and low, Canice gave me a raised tone abuse about times being estimates. I agreed and said that's why I was given an "Estimate" between 17.00 and 17.20 He roared at me and pointed to the receipt saying the order was estimated at 17.15!!! As if this made things better. I don't think the penny dropped with him that he was making my case even stronger and it was now nearly 17.45. So I politely asked how to I cancel the order he replied Contact Just eat. This man didn't have a sympathetic bone in his body or in fact any interest in dealing with me as a customer or caring I have heard reports of ignorance and poor customer service from this man before but I gave the benefit of the doubt as I have used this company before but never again. I would not reccomend. If Canice is the Supervisor then he needs to go on a Customer Service course on how to deal with the public. Very unprofessional company. All he had to do was say "Sorry I just see your order is 30mins late I'm so sorry, please take the food, I hope it's ok and I hope it's not cold if there is any issues give us a call and we will sort out a gesture of goodwill for your next order" Anything showing empathy really.

Read moreI have never been so humiliated in my life. The incompetence of the people in this establishment is a complete disgrace. I placed a £28 order around 14:00 today and waited an hour or so after receiving the receipt and confirmation of my order. I phoned this place 5 times to ask about my order and was told they were busy but the order is on its way. To cut a very long story short, I phoned them again for the 5th time at 19;00 only to be told the order was delivered and I will not be getting another one or a refund, and i will have to speak to the boss tomorrow. I'm extremely angry as the delivery driver said the food was delivered and the person on the phone (who was very nice) said no order, no refund. I waited 5 hours to be told (in so many words) that I'm a thief, and a liar. What the heck ever happened to the customer is always right. This place is an absolute disgrace and I would not recommend that anyone order anything from here. I have to speak to the owner tomorrow, the owner that couldn't contact me today minutes after telling the lady who was working there, "Do not be sending another order and don't be giving a refund. Read moreOrdered through their app... It said every order needs to be manually accepted! So I waited on the timer, order missed was the notification, yet was charged anyway... Phoned, "your money will go back to your account" was the answer when asked... "So I'm not getting the breakfast I paid for then?" Was my question, "The money will go back into your account, okay bye" was the answer... Now that's some top class customer service right there... Now my money is being held hostage for god knows how long and still no breakfast... Instead of sending the stuff that's paid for.. I won't be ordering from here anymore as it's unreliable, I'd advise others...
