Romeos — Restaurant in Northern Ireland

Usually a good service but missing part of the order tonight, after the 1st phone call I was then treated like a liar trying to get a free bag of chips. 1st time I called and they said they would send another so at that stage wouldn't say a bad word, mistakes happen.

The missing order was chicken goujons and chips with gravy. Gravy came on 1st delivery, no chips or goujons. 2nd delivery had only goujons. Still missing chips.

When I called to say something else was missing I was then told that the girl bagged it personally so am I sure the chips aren't there? I wouldn't be calling if they were there, I don't know if they fell in someone's car but I don't have them. Was silent for few minutes and told again that I'm basically lying and to check again, told the person I'm not being funny but it's just a bag of chips and I'm just expecting you to send the full order I've already called once about it. She said she'll get one sent out.

Delivery came 35 minutes later(not a priority) when the delivery man came as well it was a quick drop off as well no one at any stage apologised for the error.

Waited over an hour for my food, they forgot I was there waiting when I asked the owner how long it would be she said who spoke to when I came in? I pointed to one of the staff and the owner told me I should have spoken up, £35 order and she handed it to me after being in a heater for over 40mins(another customer in the shop said the same thing happened him a few weeks prior) I told her the food will be like rubber she told me to check it which I done on the shelf pulled out all my items to which they did make fresh chips and a steak box,, shocking how the owner dealt with the situation all together and how bad her attitude was with me. I'm a regular in there well was a regular and they way I was spoken to has put me off going back! Got home and some of the food ended up being binned, the sheets in the lasagne were rock hard,the pizza was cold and the milkshakes were nearly warm bcoz we waited that long for the order...

Andrea @ Romeos is a superb considerate kind and understanding lady! I had and issue with food I had ordered a while ago and I contacted Romeos and firstly was speaking with Laura who was also considerate and true to her word, when she said she would get the manager to call me directly! Andrea did call me and firstly was so apologetic and straight away rectified the situation.

On recognising my issue she supplied me with delicious pizzas and garlic bread plus free delivery for my daughter’s 18th birthday on Friday night!

Her customer service and community spirit for local people is exceptional.. it would be wonderful if big businesses had the same ethos that Romeos and Andrea have!
