Courthouse Bar — Restaurant in Northern Ireland

6 of us & 1 toddler arrived for food @ 3.30 on Sunday 29th June which was booked, thought we'd make a day of it as Armagh match was being shown.Bought straight to table & drinks order was taken 5mins later waitress came back to say we need to order our drinks at bar, yet other tables had their drinks brought down, that was fine, ordered food & deserts which were delicious & around 5 we were told we'd have to leave the table @ 5.30 this was while 2 of us were still eating desert, could see the staff watching us & laughing & giggling made us feel uncomfortable then 20 mins later we were asked again to leave, I questioned this as there were ones in before us who were still sitting, was told they needed the tables & we weren't the only one bein asked,so we gathered our belongings to go pay ,a waitress came bk & said only then as were paying, that we could sit elsewhere, only 4 mins remaining of the match we were that disgusted & annoyed we just left, Have to say we will not be back & think ur staff would need to learn how to deal with public & have bit...

Fabulous food, fantastic cocktails and wonderful staff!! Would give this place more stars if I could!! Booked The Courthouse for a small group of 3, for a birthday meal (16th December 2020) and I cannot rate this place highly enough!! From booking right thought to leaving the staff were absolutely AMAZING!! Due to the new restrictions in place, the staff were so attentive and were always on hand to make sure we had everything we needed! We were never without drinks!! I had been talking a cocktail that wasn't in the list, the waiter had overheard me, no problem at all, the barman knew how to make it!! I was so impressed!! We just had dinner here- Great friendly guys and brilliant service. So much so that I didn't want to complain to them about the food. Not good- duck dish was very confused and the duck was massively overcooked, nothing on the plate complimented each other- just a whatever's left in the fridge type dish.Calamari was a bit spongy and the 'napa slaw' just wet shredded veg- water all at the bottom of the plate. Mussles were a nice sounding starter but again were over cooked, very chewy. Over all probably good for a pint and banter with the staff who are very good. Would not be eating there again. Mid-range restuarant prices but definately not good quality food. Disappointed...
