Sunday evening, didnt feel like cooking for one so decided on fish and chips. Googled for ones near me and found dillingers so as it was the first time and I wanted to be able to drive away if i didnt fancy it, I drove there and ordered. Couple running it very pleasant and helpful. Ordered cod supper and drove home. First of all it would have done two people! Fish was lovely, not thick portions (which I do like) but thin with lovely batter. Chips were not at all greasy and were nice and fluffy. Excellent value. Premises seemed very clean and hygiene was obviously a high priority. Just visited an hour ago, as we took a trip out to Carrick as the weather was lovely. We thought we would eat at Dillingers, but discovered it had changed hands. So we read the reviews and they weren't good. We drove off, and then decided we would decide for ourselves and drove back!! We were not disappointed at all. Had a chicken gougon supper and a battered sausage supper. They were lovely. Very generous potions of chips, I would challenge anybody to finish one, we certainly couldn't!!
