Knead Bakery — Restaurant in Northern Ireland

Member of staff was informing me I can't have a dog in the premises as I'm standing with my special needs son on his harness, I corrected her and she said she was sorry as she thought I had a dog with me due to me holding a "lead".

For any premise in this day and age to have zero awareness of disabilities and special needs is disgusting. Will never use this place again, the fact she then denied saying it afterwards due to other customers being in is pathetic

I regularly pop into Knead for a few wee treats and my absolute favourite is their carrot cake - it’s absolutely amazing. I recently ordered a large carrot cake and lots of lemon & chocolate cupcakes for a family members 60th birthday celebrations and they were extremely well enjoyed by all. I've been a customer of Knead since it was the Harlequin bakery. I love that they still do the old favourite traditional Ulster breads like soda farls, potato bread etc, but also like to try out more innovative products.
