Update (December 2023). The Coleraine café now being shut, I come here sometimes, particularly when they have coffee beans for sale from wonderful roasters like Onyx. Whilst I still preferred the Coleraine café, I enjoy it here too. The coffee is smooth and pastries are lovely. I have not tried the hot food so can't comment on that side of things. When there on a wet Saturday afternoon, it was nice and quiet and service was top notch. When weather is good at the height of summer it can get very busy and service can be a bit slower. Parking is limited, so I park up the top of the hill. If you don't like hill starts when driving then park at the top of the hill! Staff are lovely in my experience and the great experience makes up for having to drive a few miles past Coleraine to get here. Highly recommended!

Changed a lot since it first opened. Similar to the Coleraine cafe but I still prefer Coleraine. Great coffee and buns, reasonably priced and friendly staff. Somewhat limited parking but...

1 star seems harsh because it was very busy so maybe I caught them on a bad day, but this was so disappointing. Walked in to order and the place was so smokey from something burning on the cooker that you could barely breathe. Migraine inbound. After ordering a hot chocolate and flat white we stepped outside to wait for our order. 15 minutes for a flat white and hot chocolate seems excessive. And then we found out why. The coffee was so burnt it must’ve been roasted on that cooker within an inch of its life. It tasted foul! The hot chocolate was meh, better than the coffee but still not great for the price. The staff were nice and there was a good vibe about the place, but the experience didn’t match it. I hope to try again sometime and hopefully I can...

Visited with our 1 year old and dog because it was raining and the cafe is advertised as “dog-friendly”. Outside awning was not out so outside tables were all soaking. Asked at till if dogs were allowed inside and they said yes. Ordered food and half way through the meal we were approached by a member of staff and told to leave as dogs were not allowed inside. Had to leave immediately, our daughter was half way through her meal. Do not advertise as dog friendly if you only allow dogs outside the premises, by that standard every restaurant/pub/cafe is “dog-friendly”. Or at the very least make sure your outside covering is actually in use when it’s raining and we would have...

Absolutely loved my visit to Lost and Found Coffee in Portstewart! The cortado was perfectly balanced, and the matcha was one of the best I’ve had smooth, rich, and full of flavor. If you’re hungry, don’t miss the brunch brioche it’s delicious and beautifully presented. On top of the fantastic food and drinks, the customer service is next level friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. I give this place a solid 110% recommendation to anyone in or around Portstewart. A must-visit spot for coffee lovers and brunch seekers alike!

Great coffee, great music, great view! We stopped by late afternoon for a coffee and returned the next day, Sunday for a Brunch Brioche. Was not disappointed! The staff are so good, spotted a couple at a table for four and a family struggling at two bar stools, nicely arranged a swap. While I was waiting for our take away (they said it would be 20 minutes and it was) young girl came out with order, spotted bin was almost full, emptied it. It’s that kind of attention that makes a good place great!

I have to admit this is not a real review. I have responded only because I visited the car park just after closing time. It looks a great wee place with a view to die for looking out towards Castle rock and Mussenden Temple sorry if I have the wrong spelling for the temple as I am from Scotland but am determined to visit the cafe soon. As you can see from the photo the view is fab. Hopefully the food is good too
