Should be called a dive-thru, not drive-thru. Called in here mid - afternoon today for a very late lunch, after traveling to Larne to collect an item from the town's Argos. Hadn't realised the McDonald's had relocated to a brand new store, after I saw the original one is now a vets? Whilst I was waiting for my order, it was hard not to notice just how filthy the store was. Food squashed into the floor in several places, and notably across the floor by the main entrance. Many tables with used trays/empty cartons etc just lying around..albeit it's possible that customers just left them there as every bin was overflowing. Ketchup & BBQ sauce dispensers looking like a kids play area.. It took 13 minutes for my meal to arrive, and I changed my mind from eating in(funny that), so requested it be bagged to go. During this 13 minute period NO cleaning or clearing was done. I have to then wonder for just how long before & after my visit did this remain? It's pretty bad management for them not to not be concerned by the state of the place, and alarmingly the previous customer reviews 🤷 which clearly isn't bothering them? They do not deserve a brand new store, in fact if environmental health called on an unannounced visit, they may cease to have one. My crispy chicken burger was cold too, but I wasn't going back in to complain - couldn't wait to get away from there. My local McDonald's store in Coleraine by contrast is clean, inviting and efficient - even during busy periods of which they've many. Poor show Larne👎

Called in for a coffee and a chicken mayo and got served a bun burnt black and rock hard and it had no lettuce on it left it inedible nearly everytime I go into this restaurant there is some issue how hard can it be to make one of there most basic burgers?

Waited 25 mins for 6 meals and 2 kids meals. No sauce, no napkins, milk poured into a cup for tea, food missing, food was returned because it was freezing. Sauce pumps dirty with flies . Bins filled.

As a local customer I'm sorry to say this new establishment needs better management. I have visited twice since its opening, on both occasions the fries tasted like they were partially cooked and left for about 30 mins before serving....like eating partially cooked, dried up, chip flavoured cardboard, basically inedible. On both occasions my wife ordered a plain burger, no cheese, no sauce, no salad...on both occasions the order was wrong..served with cheese, gurkins and sauce the first time and despite explaining perfectly on the second occasion, with the order clearly displayed on the screen it was served with cheese, along with the dried up, half cooked inedible fries. I know it's a new staff, but taking orders is not rocket science and the staff appear more interested in conversing with each other, than providing accurate orders and decent food. As a new franchise in Larne and McDonalds second go at a larne franchise, the staff should be concerned with making this establishment a cut above the rest, to bring in more new customers and building a good reputation, however.....this seems to have been no concern to the staff. I'm sorry...but I'll continue to go to the Carrickfergus branch...if or until this Larne branch, sorts itself out. Very disappointing and needs someone to take charge properly, or it will not last long. It's not rocket science to take and order correctly, fry chips properly and not leave them 20 mins before serving ! Please sort this...

It has came to my attention that my great grandson and friends, who are well mannered, polite, honest young men ,were thrown out of this mcdonalds into the pouring rain earlier on today.I have heard that the reason for them to be thrown out was because they had drinks with them that were not purchased in mcdonalds, bearing in mind each of them had purchased some food. I was told that they didn't want to buy more drinks and have to carry them out in the rain. The manager had given them no warning that they weren't allowed to have outside drinks on the premises, and instead just came over to their table and started shouting at them to get out. One of my grandsons friends asked if they could stay in the foyer until the rain went off and was told to "stand under the brollys"- which wouldn't have benefited them as it was windy aswell. So what I think of this is that the manager has thrown them out for his own entertainment as they weren't causing a ruckus or being disruptive nor was the mcdonalds busy inside, so there was plenty of free seats for more people to come in. I personally wouldn't be going to mcdonalds for food but this has...
