Ordered christening cake. Tasted rotten but well decorated, thought oh well, places make mistakes.

Ordered 1st birthday cake. They got the order totally wrong. Didn't put on any of the instructions we left, we emailed them a picture of what we wanted. We picked up a plain white cake that said happy birthday, nit even first birthday.

Phoned them, he said "I could try bring someone in to fix it, but they have young kids and theyd need to find someone to look after them" etc. And that it might not be ready on time Which obviously we weren't going to force on some poor woman.

No money knocked off. Offered a free cake next time. Got in touch after, free cake had turned into a small discount instead.

So for sons first birthday party, the cake was ruined, we were embarrassed to take it out of the box or get photos of it as looks like we'd thrown it together ourselves.

Will certainly not be ordering...

I pop up here for a very first time and feel amazed by service, food quality, positive vibes. My chicken half rice half chips pepper sauce 😋😋😋 delicious. Very busy on Saturday morning but was able to catch the spot and have a little space for myself. Baking items look great, I didn't want to look too much on them hahaha as just shouting - buy me, eat me! I definitely will get back again here...

After numerous attempts to call in to McLaughlins, I eventually managed to stop in Cookstown today and treat myself to coffee and a bun. Great service, brilliant friendly staff, lovely atmosphere and above all...
