Next Cafe Abbey Centre — Restaurant in Northern Ireland

This used to be a regular spot for us before we moved and we never had any issues before. The staff where always very pleasant. Fast forward to today myself and my 4 year old where in next and my little one said mummy I need the toilet I said thats OK hunni we will go upstairs use the toilet and get a coffee after. So up we went to find a lock on the toilet door so I asked a member of staff could we please use the bathroom. To which she replied quite ignorantly no for customers only I looked at her and said its actually for my 4 year old and she replied use the food court. My little girl was in a rush to use the toilet, I'm also 39 weeks pregnant and the food court is far enough away for her to have an accident on the way. Needless to say we certainly did not stay for a coffee. This woman automatically assumed we weren't customers and she certainly didn't give us a chance to be a customer. Good for you guys if your happy to loose customers but please take a look at certain staff as my 4 year old has more manners than this and actually commented about how rude she was. And for reference this member of staff was about 5ft tall brunette with ponytail glasses and accent. My questions to her is what does it cost her to be pleasant to people and two what difference to her life would it make to let a child use the toilet?? I should note my annoyance is more the attitude of this woman. The ironic thing was, there was about four tables of customers and walk out side and Costa was swamped clearly much nicer staff in Costa! What a shame one woman can pull the whole place down! Good...

23rd December rushing about getting last minute things. Decided to pop into the Next cafe to just relax and have something to eat. Well we met the most awesome, happy and friendly staff member ever! Didn't get his name but he was getting the food orders and putting them on. Such a bubbly, friendly guy and in all honestly made our day! Made to feel so welcome and nothing was a hassle for him. Even found bananas for the milkshake we ordered even though he thought he ran out! The other staff members were lovely as well. The big guys need to give them all a generous bonus....

Awful. Absolutely awful. My husband's soup was cold, so they heated it in the microwave so hot he couldn't eat it. A very tiny slice of wheaten bread. My bacon, cheese n cranberry crossiant was ok but the knife was so blunt it wouldn't cut it!! My espresso was cold and I just couldn't be bothered to complain. There was one guy who did the food and really tried to help people. But the cafe needs looked at. £14.15 wasted! I would never go again,...
