The food was delicious but the experience with the supervisor Kiera left 'a bad taste'. Had a very unnecessary unpleasant encounter. I purchased 3 cheesy curry chips for my children and walked to the far end of the promenade to discovered no forks had been included. I walked back and asked if I could get a few forks. I was told they didn't have any left. I asked "What are the children to eat with?" A younger member of staff apologised and then a "So-called" Supervisor interjected and said "It's not our problem! We are local people who use this chippy alot. on Friday 27th August at approx 530pm we ordered chicken Gordon's chips and a drink. Unfortunately it was like a kiddies portion. The chips were like the last of the basket no proper eating in them and the goujons were dripping in grease. Which are usually beautiful best around. We had to bin everything. We hope that this is just a one off as we would still like it to remain our favourite chippy Please accept this as constructive critiscism as if you are not aware of the problem or staff members on duty you cannot...

The wait time wasn't bad I'll give them that but considering the amount of grease on me and my girlfriends meals. Particularly her goujons you'd have assumed. We got them straight from the fryer. Infact there was that much grease it's most likely burned a hole in the sofa. So the poor quality was topped off with the fact they got my order wrong despite me confirming it twice.
