Toasted Artisan Kitchen — Restaurant in Northern Ireland

My friend and I choose to try this place today (a Saturday) around 12:30, I had seen it when searching Google maps for a place for lunch. The reviews were good, the photos of the food looked good and so we decided to try for ourselves. The location was good for us and plenty of parking. When we got inside there are 2 ends of where you can sit, we walked in one side and it was busy enough so walked down to the other side where the counter is. We got greeted immediately by a member of staff who showed us to a table right away and gave us menus. We didn't have to wait long at all and the guy (didn't ask for his name) came over and took our order, he was the one who greeted us when we first came in, he was friendly and attentive. Our drinks came out quite promptly which was nice and then we didn't have to wait long at all for our food. The service was great. The food was lovely too, my friend had a pesto chicken brie and sun blush toastie and I had sourdough poached eggs tapenade and avocado. Service is painfully slow, and staff look completely disinterested. Still keep going back, as it's the only place in carryduff to get a coffee... Everytime I hope it gets better, every time it doesn't! So if your planning a quick coffee visit, you're better with barista bar brackenvale. If you've got an hour to kill, then go for it!

EDIT - Worth noting that since writing this review, the owner has stalked me on Facebook... And sent me a passive aggressive private message about brackenvale's profits... Staff very friendly. Had lunch there consisting of toasted ciabatta with goats cheese, tampanade and sun blush tomatoes and a pot of tea. I always find the bread too hard when toasted so asked for it to be lightly toasted. Unfortunately it was hard as a rock and I still have a sore palate from eating it. It was tasty but think I'll have to go for untoasted in future! I had to ask for my tea as only my 2 friends got theirs and not me. They had 2 small fries and were happy with theirs which was good.
