Boundary Fish Bar — Restaurant in Norwich

Very disappointing service from what is usually such a good chip shop. The app stated a 45 minute wait for delivery which although high I decided to accept. 45 minutes later nothing…. Look on the app, question where my food is and with no contact or comment a further 20 minutes are added to the delivery time so 1hr 5 mins now. 20 minutes pass and still no food. I called them and they told me it had been very busy and the driver hadn’t even got my food yet. In total I waited over an hour and a half for quite a simple order not far from the shop.

The excuse was it had been very busy but surely the answer to that is either adjust the order wait time on the app or stop taking further orders until you’ve cleared the backlog? Profit over customer service here and unfortunately I will not be ordering again.

The value for money rating would be higher but all value is gone after such a long wait. The quality rating would be higher but again it’s a reflection of the quality of the whole service not just the items delivered and the service speed if I could give zero stars I would have but that isn’t an option unfortunately.

Volkan, AC and Dad run a great Chip Shop. The quality of the fish is excellent and very well priced.

These guys maintained service to the elderly all thorough Covid and should be applauded for doing so, also stayed open to the general public as much as they could.

For those leaving bad reviews about the quality of the chips and how they are cooked, maybe it could be a change in potatoes. Been using the shop since it opened and never an ssue.

You won't find nicer guys or better fish and chips in Norwich. Like everywhere and everyone if you treat them with respect and are friendly you'll get the same back.

Very disappointed that as a regular customer, who spends between £10 to £30 per week here that when I paid for a large piece of fish I was ripped off by the shaven headed guy with tattoos who filled the box up with chips and placed a regular weight piece in the box. Boundary Fish Bar likes to charge a lot of money, which is customers choice as long as they get what they pay for.
