KFC Norwich - Mile Cross Lane — Restaurant in Broadland

It used to be a good place until they decided to let the parking lot be taken over by a company, which has decided you only have 1 hour stay aloud at a franchise place. I got fined £60, because I stayed 17 minutes longer which I didn't know about at that time they put this is in place. Signs apparently were there but smaller than what it is now. Spoken to staff member and the manager at the time even said that this is wrong specifically using their service and facilities paying for food drinks and given only 1 hour(there are waiting times there as there was delivery and other customers).Lot of complaints since they put this in place, at that time only few weeks ago she said... Then getting fined two weeks later. Absolutely fuming. Appealed it but now they got all the sudden huge signs all over the parking lot, which would be the first thing if they were taking over the parking. This is just rushing people not going in there and enjoying a meal with your family or friends. 17 minutes=£60 not bad. Never had a ticket in my life now I have to think twice before I go for a KFC, which I used to like once in a while. Now it is absolutely a turn down. I get that if for a reason people don't leave their cars there for hours or days. But 1 hour at a franchise is not really enough if you sit in for a chat and meal and wait for it...

Visited today around 2pm (Friday the 15th August 2025). I used the drive thru which has been revamped and has some changes made to the menus and a small order point has been installed, I haven’t visited this KFC for several months but today thought I would drop in as I was feeling peckish, Upon arriving I was viewing the menu, as I approached the first window the woman serving was rude and condescending, she told me I wouldn’t be able to make an order at the first window as I had missed the ordering point. (Yes my mistake for not noticing the newly installed order point) but I don’t expect to be met with rudeness, she then told me to go around again. Luckily the drive thru wasn’t busy so there was no wait. I was just disappointed by this individual’s attitude. (Yes everyone has problems but try not to bring them to work with you ) I feel the staff member serving could in fact of taken my order there and then at the window but was trying to make a point and to be awkward. I have seen Sam Doyle's review previously and I thought I would approach this specific kfc to see what mr Doyle described previously and on the 14th minute of the hour I saw the man on the small motorbike appear but instead of the usual the colonel engaged in a 14 hour duel with man both armed with pugil sticks trying to swipe each other off the tables, after the 14th hour and 36th minute of solid pugil stick combat the drinks machine over flowed and the man attempted to swim for the door where colonel sanders gave chase in a small green coloured pedelo, the man and colonel sanders continuously raced around the now fanta filled room with the colonel relentlessly attempting to hit him with a pugil stick, after a while the man hid in the cash register and the colonel left through the celling after announcing that his planet needed him, the doors opened and the store drained of fanta, terrific place indeed this eye opening experience has specifically encouraged me to getting a kfc logo tattood on my forehead, it really showed me the fact Ronald ain't got nothing on the colonel, long...
