Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Norwich

Absolutely awful experience this evening with Papa Johns Plumstead Road ordered 2 pizzas with sides the sides being the tatertots with cheese and jalapeno bites, ordered at ten to 9 on a Friday evening, website advised delivery by 21.30 nice bit of pizza before bed. At 21.40 the website was showing the order as delivered, so i called the store and was told the order would be with me by 22.00, an hour and ten mins after placing the order and 30 mins later than advertised. I was also advised my order was in the car the whole time, so i said i wasnt happy and wanted to cancel the order as i was now getting tired and didnt fancy starting to eat at 22.00. I was told I had to get a refund through the app as id ordered through the app, i hadn't i ordered through the website, whilst trying to locate the number to call on the website (whilst simultaneously on the phone to the store) the guy Amran hung up on me. I called straight back and was being fobbed off again when the driver knocked on my door. I advised the driver that i did not want the order, He refused to leave my doorstep, he had parked in the road blocking all traffic and said i "had to take the food". I said I dont want It. The driver, imran, said it is company policy to ensure the food is left with the customer even as a way of an apology for the poor service at this point I was getting to the point where i didnt like having someone refusing to leave and refusing to accept me cancelling the order. It was a little bit intimidating having him refuse to leave and insisiting i must have the food. The food was terrible,The tatertots with cheese and bacon were stone cold and stodgy after such a long wait, the bbq pizza was drenched in BBQ sauce, not a drizzle as advertised literally drenched in bbq sauce. At one point on the pizza it was pretty much pooled. All in all an absolute nightmare. Terrible wait times, awful customer service and an intimidating driver refusing to leave and, of course, the food was disgusting. It probaly would have been nice when it was fresh. I'll never know I will never go to Papa...

Disgusting location. Took payment 3 times for a pizza I didn't even get. Clearly website technical issues. I called up to get help. He couldn't even understand anything I was saying. I explained multiple times I've been charged 3 times and the pizza hasn't even gone through. He kept saying £3 for a pizza? So I asked if I could please speak to someone else. I got a manager who got very annoyed with me, shouted "what do you want me to do about it" ? Disgraceful. He acted like he was the aggrieved in this situation. I called a few days after and got Darren who is always polite and can understand me. He said he can't help and to get a refund from my bank. I called my bank and they said they can't do anything until 15 works days have passed. I don't believe that Papa John's couldn't have helped me get a refund. If I was rude and impolite I could understand the reluctance to help me but I was understanding and polite. I'm now annoyed as I've been charged near £60 for a pizza I didn't receive and have to wait weeks to even get my money back. Most can't go without that amount of money in the current climate. And I find it awful they just don't care about their customers or circumstances. I've been a customer for years, I don't feel valued and won't...

Ordered 2 x Medium pizza's, 2 sides at 6pm last night. Viewed the online tracker at 6.29pm, it said pizza's were out of the oven and being checked. 1 Hour later, no Pizza's & no update on the site. 7.31pm I got a call from a delivery driver saying he was sorry to be so late. He had just picked up our food and would be arrive with us in 5 minutes. I didn't expect to receive food that had been sitting cooked for an hour. Thats exactly what happened & what we were delivered. £25 for stone cold pizza. According to Papa johns I should have called back and complained and asked for replacements. We had guests round and didn't want to wait another 90 minutes for pizzas ( We would have been Eating at 10pm) I'm writing this as a warning to any other customers who are waiting for ages, it might be worth calling the store and checking where food is and making sure you are not going to get stone cold pizza thats been sitting for an hour waiting on a driver. I ended up putting them into the oven at home for 30 mins, they done the job, but...
