Jamaican Ways Ltd — Restaurant in Nottingham

Popped into this restaurant in Radford yesterday on Jamaican Independence Day for a takeaway… TBH I literally could eat anything from here, but asked them to give me whichever chicken curry was the nicest… ( it created a dilemma for the staff member because he knew everything was nice) He decided to give me half and half ( 2 types of chicken curry ) and a rice with shaved peppers, onions and carrots in…. Times are changing in Caribbean restaurants… Long gone are the hard faced people with attitude and in comes, the nice mannered and polite, staff members with good people skills, recognising that good customer services are equally as important as the food they serve and I think JWays were among the 1st in Nottm to recognise this.. With all due respect to other Caribbean food shops in the city, this food shop clearly leads the way… The food was gorgeous… 🤷🏽‍♂️ Service delivery was a bit ‘Slow’ but it was in all fairness, well worth the wait… It’s very difficult for me to recommend anywhere else for...

Wow..... I have been eating Jamacian food for 30 years and for me this place is the best. If you want proper fresh food cooked by people with serious experience then get yourself to Hartley Road. I have been in the shop a couple of times and the ladies there are so talkative and attentive, you can tell they are happy and proud to serve up the good food 👌 I also met the delivery driver a few times, him rapid when I asked for delivery and you can tell him happy to work for the shop as he must know himself good food a gwarn, him cute too ❤ Serious people as I'm eating my good food me a say yes man good food dat.
