Oakleigh Lodge Social Club — Restaurant in Nottingham

We booked to have a funeral function here very recently, the money we paid wasnt worth the food we got served on the buffet and getting told to leave the function room we're we wasn't bothering anybody we wasnt informed that we had to leave the function room at a set time until we arrived. The old man who worked there constantly shouted at the children and was very rude at the fact we was still there having a drink after the function ended. Most people stayed and a good amount of money was put behind the bar that night,but at last call he immediately told everyone to leave even tho just having paid for drinks,knowone was able to finish there drinks. I will be telling people not to book here. I'm very disappointed. There was no trouble and people were respectful but we were treated as a burden and as tho we was in the way of the locals. Just to add the girls behind the bar were lovely. Very friendly. That was the best thing...

We had a great night, very friendly people and very well run by the committee. A good choice of beers and spirits, the bar staff were very polite and friendly. The club is very well maintained and very clean. We will certainly go again in the very near future, it is well...

I was absolutely shocked at the size of the hall. You don't expect something that big when you look at the front of the building. Has the social club vibe, clean, and has friendly staff.
