Billys Fish Bar — Local services in Nottingham

Used a few times before and the food has always been lovely, but took quiet some time to delv when less than 1/2 mile down the hill. This time how ever we ordered through Uber Eats . Small order for a small family tea . A large bag of chips were missing. Leaving only one bag. Which we gave to the children. I contacted the store and Uber. The man was hard to understand as the line was awful. Was questioned about where the food was. Erm ok I'm hardly going to call up about a bag of chips unless it's missing but it's £4.20 now. We are all I'll and just need some carbs. He took my address and said he'd send them out. 40 mins later and no chips. I've called again and spoke to another man. Clearer line this time. Apologies given and I was told the other man "forget" to send them. Really?!. I've updated Uber on the situation. Still waiting for this 1 bag of large chips from 1/2 mile down the hill , 20 mins after I called and 1 hr since recieving the first drop off. 🥺😵‍💫🫨🙄🙄🙄 I've tried the peas we ordered. Extremely watered down and very bitter. They have gone in the bin. It's now 19:20pm the delv has just arrived with the chips and apology...

Absolutely revolting the stuff we was given for our last order. We was told 30-45 minutes. It was an hour and a half late. When the food eventually arrived it was luke warm but we were that hungry we wasn't bothered, for now... We opened the food with hands full of grease. Fritters were that greasy you couldn't pick them up and after attempting hands were left dripping. The wrap looked like someone had vomited inside and the wrap itself was soggy from yet more grease. There was not one bit of meat that wasn't pure fat. The gravy was cold by the time we got to it. The chips were cold and soggy. The only thing OK was a single sausage. Everything but the sausage went in the bin as I wouldn't serve it on death row. Absolutely vile. A waste of our money as we ended up ordering from somewhere else. They gave us one extra pot of sauce for inconvenience and thought that would be enough. I will not be ordering from here again and will be telling friends and family...

Just paid almost £18 to have 2 large fish and chips delivered and all i can say is WOW,i have never had such a small shriveled up piece of fish from a chipshop in my life(both of them) and it genuinely looked and tasted like it had been cooked yesterday,if that is the standard of your food BILLY'S FISH BAR,then you seriously need some training because that fish was absolutely atrocious and you have got to of known that if you tried serving that to a person who came into the shop then they would absolutely NOT of accepted that fish,,i will never be eating from this shop again, and if anyone reading this has any sense then they won't either but if you are the kind of person who likes learning from your own mistakes then please go for it but i promise you,IT WILL BE A MISTAKE,i am 54 so have had my share of fish in my life but this seriously was the MOST pathetic excuse for a piece of fish that me and my wife have ever had so please...
