Booked a table for 20 was put on two seperate tables so party guests were secluded from the rest all night. Staff were rude and talking over each other when bringing out the food and got annoyed when nobody could hear what they were saying. Multiple times we asked for drinks and were given the wrong ones. Asked for food items and the wrong products came out, and even missed products but left them on the bill. Two seperate tables were served by different people leaving one table having their mains before the other tables starters had come out, poor organisation. Once again leaving the other table feeling secluded and disappointed due to the fact that they had finished their meals and were waiting for the other table to have their starters then mains. When it came to paying the bill, we were given one list with a bar tab, nothing was itemised so we were unable to tell who had what and how much each person’s items came to. Was told that there’s no way of telling who had what as they don’t do it that way and we just had to trust them with the total sum. Both servers were very rude when it came to paying the bill and manager suggested we go up to the bar and pay and tell them what we had and paid for that. When it came to the end we were told that we had £16 of the bill left to pay. Even though everyone had paid for what we had, we weren’t allowed to leave until this had been paid. Staff also said “how am I meant to know what you have had” when asked what was on the bar tab. We felt that this was shocking behaviour because they should surely know what has come from the bar to actually come up with a total amount. Whole experience was disappointing and ruined what should have been a lovely night. Whole party felt like we were ripped off due to not knowing what they were actually paying for and where the £16 discrepancy came from. Very disgusted with the attitude of the staff towards the...
Read moreI.am not local to the Agra palace and couldn.t believe how poor the service and food could possibly get. Waited almost 2 hrs for my main course to arrive. Once it did arrive it was tasteless considering I had ordered one of the menus special I thought may be safe. It seemed from what others had ordered from the group I was with one curry fits all either change the colour with food do or minor spice change. Waiters were picking through the food to determine what it could possibly be. It was quite obvious rice had been reheated via microwaving by the way it arrived in microwave pots and lids Nan bread was dry felt licke that has also been 're heated.and most off putting of all a table close was used to store eaten meals.waste pots and Meals that the waiters were about to deliver I think from what I could see the curry fits all was causing them major issue. The worste Indian I have ever attended in my 50 yrs stay well away.hope...
Read moreI've got to give a 3 for this, came in and ordered takeaway a few weeks back it was beautiful and I mean beautiful!! Best curry I've ever had and was quick to recommend to my family when they came up from London to visit so we decided to get another on Saturday, I ordered the same as I had last time and the others ordered what they wanted, but this time it was horrible, the curries where really watery, they had no flavour and I had to actually add salt to mine and usually I will never add salt but this was bland, I had a lamb bhuna and although the lamb was lovely and soft the sauce and side dishes of bombay and sagg paneer really let it down. It went from being a 5* faultless restaurant to one that I wouldn't want to go back too...
