Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Nuneaton and Bedworth

Order from here quite frequently but certainly won't ever order again. Both me and my partner are ethical vegans of 10 years. We ordered a vegan pizza with jackfruit pepperoni and got the vegan jackfruit pepperoni with a handful of real pepperoni scattered on the pizza too kinda hiding under the vegan cheese. I imagine the vegan and meat toppings are nowhere near each other when making the pizza so this was intentional. Also on the delivery note section of the box "dog sausage" had also been written as if our vegan pizza order was a joke. No apologies from manager and generally he didn't seem bothered at all, wouldn't even give us a full refund for the other pizza and delivery charge for the major inconvenience and mess up. If you don't eat meat/dairy for ethical, religious or an allergen I certainly wouldn't risk...

Friday night/half term treat from Papa John's Nuneaton £25 for two pizzas. Two pizzas that were delivered cold. We were hungry so decided to go with it rather than complain. Then one of us finds a short dark hair on a slice which completely puts us off. I rang up to report our experience and got to speak with the manager.

She immediately assumed I was after a freebie and said it was their policy that nothing can be done if more than 2 slices had been consumed (there's 4 of us). I told her what I actually wanted to hear was that they'd pay better attention to hygiene standards. I then received a very insincere apology. Poor customer service. After that and on closer inspection a second hair was found! The remaining pizza (13 slices) have gone in the bin! Next time it'll be...

I'm not usually one for posting negative reviews, but when I've had my money stolen by a company I'll make an exception. If I could give zero stars I would.

Ordered food at 18:30, not received within an hour so called to check up and was told it was 10 minutes away. Half an hour later still no food, so phoned and, no disrespect to the lady I spoke to, she tried to help but was told profusely by the supervisor on site that the food I was trying to chase had been delivered. Asked to speak to him, but "he doesn't speak to customers on the phone". Was told the manager would phone when he got back into the shop, but over an hour later and still no word from management. £40 down, no food received and management that don't care.

Wouldn't go anywhere near these with a 6...
