finally got to try dhils eats after meaning to go for over a year and it did not disappoint! firstly the atmosphere and ambience is so cute and authentic, set up with benches in front with little fairy lights in a jar, it was such a wholesome experience to eat in and reminded me of street food (like a dhabba) in india. we ordered a kebab, buffalo wings, sweet chilli wings (my fave!), and some chilli cheese bites and i cannot even critique the food it was well above my expectations. im a vegetarian but my friend who came with me and eats meat was also really impressed at how unqiue but similar the textures and flavours were compared to actual meat. The owner was terribly kind and accommodating, we were given drinks on the house due to a slight wait for our food which was so generous, and he checked in on us twice to make everything was ok and we were enjoying our food. that level of hospitality isnt something you get everywhere, its special to this place. This is probably my second or third time ever leaving a review for anything. Haven’t even finished my meal yet, but had to come here to say.. WOW.

Ordered via the Dhil’s Eats app last Friday and was so impressed with the entire order process, and delivery time. Even more so with the food. I decided for my first time I’d try the Loaded Mix Grill Naan & Masala chips. It was all amazing.

I’ve gone again tonight in person, and have been left even more impressed by how lovely and helpful Dhil was. He helped me choose what to try next and gave suggestions on what dips and flavours would go well together. It was cold out, so he offered to bring my food over to my car once it was ready.

This time I’ve had Loaded Salt & Chilli Fries with Paneer. As well as a portion of Chilli Cheese Bites with some Buffalo and Garlic Mayo dips… SO GOOD! The chilli cheese bites and vegan paneer are two of the best things I’ve ate since going vegan FIVE years ago. I cannot express how happy I am to finally have a great local VEGAN takeout!
