This while place nene -ferry meadows is fab excellent place to take the kids. This cafe ( the one near the entrance ) is where we had hot drinks and snacks ( 2 adults mum and grandma with 2 children 5 and 9) we all said how enjoyable our drinks were in particular. (Lattes &hit chocs) there were children's versions available . The staff were exceptionally polite and helpful there are not a huge amount of chairs indoors maybe 10 ish tables but there are plenty of places to take your food and drinks between the inside and outside seating. I would 100% recommend this whole place for everyone ,family's, dog walkers , elderly disabled ..ect they have catered for everyone. If you take a stroll around the park there are plenty of seats along the way several play parks nature interests and a reasonably priced train that takes you either one way or return for £2-£3.50 they take cash and card here. Only charges for visiting are the car park which we paid £4.50 and we were there...

This establishment's unprofessional and unskilled staff makes for a terrible experience. It's better to get your coffee elsewhere, as the employees here seem to have no concept of food hygiene and are incredibly inefficient. You'll wait half the time anywhere else, and the prices are exorbitant. Despite past negative experiences, this visit was no different. For example, after ordering two cappuccinos without chocolate, a staff member with long nails unhygienically dipped her nail into my coffee while struggling to lift a can. Additionally, the cashier initially forgot to charge us for the cappuccinos, even though two dishes and two spoons were prepared. To make matters worse, the barista disregarded the queue, serving customers who ordered after us. There were no apologies, just unhelpful smiles. While the location is great, the miserable staff operates with shocking incompetence, as if they're still learning...

Since the 1st lockdown in March 2020, my wife and myself have been using Ferry Meadows Cafe regularly during our walks and cycle rides in Ferry Meadows. We always have coffee (black americano with 1 shot and cappuccino extra hot with an extra shot). The staff at the cafe are very friendly, efficient and professional with their service and nothing is too much trouble. They usually recognise us in the queue and are getting our coffee's ready before we have ordered, excellent service and much appreciated. This morning I was on a solo bike ride and had forgotten my face mask, so resigned myself to no cappuccino today. However, Agi, the manager, saw me and provided me with a face mask so that I could enter the cafe and order. This is typical of the excellent service all the staff offer at this friendly cafe. I would recommend a visit if you are visiting...

The wait for food was 50 minutes, I was not made aware of the wait time when ordering, they only placed a sign up that it will be around a 40 minute wait after I had already been sat waiting for the food, the food came and all it was is okay. The chicken burger, the chicken was only in half of the burger leaving the rest to just be bread and tomato, chicken was also dry so I’m assuming it was overcooked. The chicken burger was very disappointing considering the wait.

Beautiful spot for tea and ice cream. Enjoyed the lovely views, walk, bike ride and playground. Fantastic day out. Pricey car park. It is worth bringing own bikes as the hire of a bicycle per guy is about £25. There are a lot of activities available, such as canoeing, kayaking, body boarding and more. There is also a farm shop by the lake where it is possible to buy cereals in your own box or jar. Two cafes on site to choose from.

Most magical magnificent place to eat, set in a wild life park the cafes are beautiful and modern. Sat inside or outside summer or winter it's a beautiful view. The price of food and drink is a little expensive however it's all in a good cause to keep the park active and maintained. The food and drink is of a high standard definitely worth the price. Staff are friendly even offering gluten free alternatives if asked.
