I have been frequenting this place for some time now, and today was the last straw. The first time I came in, I witnessed a scene with the store manager and a girl who said she hadn't been credited her beans. The store manager doubted her, and in the end, she left. I believe she filed a complaint with the head office. Every time I go there, I know the coffee won't be the best, but it's incredible how the taste varies each day. I always order the same thing. Today, I received a single macchiato in a double cup that was completely watered down. Once, I even heard someone ask how to make "a macchiato". it’s basic knowledge, guys. The store manager is very rude; perhaps it’s the fatigue, but he has no sense of customer care. The place is dirty, with filth on the floor everywhere, the outdoor area is only half open with chairs still stacked, and the bathroom facilities I used were not in good condition.
While I appreciate the potential of this store, there are significant areas that require immediate attention to enhance the overall customer experience. I encourage the management to prioritize staff training, improve cleanliness, and foster a more customer-friendly atmosphere. Listening to customer feedback and addressing quality inconsistencies would go a long way in turning this place around and ensuring that customers leave satisfied. I genuinely hope to see positive changes...
Read moreCome here sometimes - it's OK, good location. But my most recent was disappointing - it was supposed to close at 6pm, and I arrived at one minute past 5 and tried to order a Frappuccino, only to be old they stop serving them at 5pm - and they were already washing up the machine, so ...
The person who informed me of this was perfectly polite, but really ... if you say you are open to a certain time, surely you should continue to serve your full choice of drinks until that time. If I'd turned up at one minute to six, I might understand it - but an hour earlier??
This sounds like a rule designed to benefit the staff more then the customers. I hear that Costa are struggling with market share now. If this is in any way typical of their service, then I'm not surprised they're losing customers. They certainly didn't get my...
Read moreI’m writing this on behalf of my mum, who visited Costa yesterday around 3 o’clock ish with my aunt. She asked me to leave this review because she was so impressed with the kindness shown by the baristas, who I think were called Julia and Lucie (as shown on their name tags not quite sure though she said)
At 83, my mum sometimes finds things a little difficult, and she told me how thoughtful it was when they offered to carry her tray over to the table. They also took the time to make sure that a snack she chose was gluten free, which she really appreciated. She said they were extremely polite, patient, and attentive, which made both her and my aunt feel very comfortable and well cared for. It meant a great deal to her, and she wanted to make sure their kindness was recognised. Julia and Lucie are a real...
