Nawaabs — Restaurant in Preston

Venue was clean and the waiter was attentive and friendly. Childrens meal were good value and water was free (as it should be in my opinion!). We also ordered a tawa costing £50. To my dismay we had to pay £2 to get a small wrinkly measly plate of salad to go with it even though we spent over £70! This really does leave a bitter taste and is a bit comical. The curries on the tawa themselves were delicious. I'm glad we ordered mild as in reality it came as a medium (for some reason these places always over spice their curries). I would definitely go back as the curries were definitely a notch above many others. I'd never order tawa again as bizarrely they seem to be worse value thans ordering individual dishes (which seems a bit silly) The tawa came on a huge platter but in reality it was just 2 curries worth with minimal starters (grill items) and was loaded with chips. Not to blame them but the restaurant was empty as well and we were the only customers (upstairs is closed off)- so kind of impacts on the experience. The bathroom was clean and you can usually get parked up within a few mins walk. One other thing- you have to wait a good 20mins for the food. In my opinion that's a good thing. Everything tasted fresh and was delicious, so the lack of custom didnt result in old / stale food which can happen in some places. Overall 4 stars is fair - I've marked down for value but marked up...

We have eaten here for many many years, we have a large family and order a lot of food Over the last 4 orders something has been forgot and when I’ve rung, they say can we bring next time , no is the reply we have ordered each dish so we can all eat On our last order we ordered for 9 people and I asked to make sure that the complete order was in. Due to the large order the phone taker stated a complimentary garlic bread was put in, great I thought as someone else had come to the house and that’s all they wanted, before finishing the order was repeated verbally Upon arrival this time 1 chips and garlic bread missing, the caller then refuted the fact that he had offered this despite the large bill I left it with his concience to deliver the food as all but one was eating I explained that it was the principle and if he went against his word I would personally no longer order I’m now looking for another take away to facilitate all tastes of the family in Preston area who I can relax knowing the order is correct and have better...

I ordered food yesterday 14in pizaa ,samosas, kebab and chicken tikka food was uncooked because pizza machine was not working properly when I told him pizza is not cooked and the other food is very cold and soggy they said come back after half an hour we're going to fix this machine and then after half an hour they put that same pizza second time in the oven that's why other food get cold and soggy they didnt refund me and they kept money and the food as well. WOW I don't want my money back I'm not coming back again in this takeaway but be good with other customers Very bad customer service owner need to check this review pls...
