Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Redditch

Such lovely staff here. Store is meticulously cleaned. There are queues but enough staff to get the queue down quickly. Occasionally all tables are full but soon as vacated quickly cleared for the next customer to use. The toilets are usually pristine and cleaned regularly. Store manageress is very friendly chirpy and works very hard. All staff are warm welcoming & always happy to have a chat with various customers. All the food is fresh and heated to perfection. Obviously it’s costa so you don’t get a side salad with your toastie which would be nice but that’s a head office Costa thing. Today our three year old decided to have a full meltdown whilst we were in Costa. As parents we 'ride it out' but appreciate that upsets the atmosphere when in a place like a coffee shop. One of the staff, a lady with blond hair and glasses, was amazing. She asked our tantruming three year old if she wanted to be her helper and took her to do some little jobs and choose a book for her to read. She instantly calmed down, and even gave us five minutes to enjoy our coffee. Costa, take note, we like your coffee, but it's your people who are amazing....

I came into Costa Coffee at Trafford Park retail park Redditch on 25th March at 11.30. I had a bacon roll + pot of tea to sit in + have. A young man was behind the counter serving, he was on his own. He was so helpful, courteous + welcoming. It was a lovely change to be served by someone like that. The company should be proud of him. I didn't catch his name...
