Feeling peckish and anxious to try the newly opened, plush Rida’s Cuisine. This Asian restaurant and takeaway on Unicorn Hill in the heart of Redditch is currently the talk of the town. And had become high on my ‘to do’ list. 😅
The outside was fresh looking and inviting, upon entering the smartly dressed receptionist greeted me with a huge ear2ear smile and her warm eyes engaging and welcoming.
Good evening sir, how may I help you. I stated I required a takeaway, She reached for a pen and pad and asked what would I like to order. I requested a large chicken biryani with separate chicken sauce, 2 naan’s and a salad to include tomatoes. She said your order will be with you shortly and to take a seat.
The surroundings were clean and bright with soft Asian music which encompassed the large murals of eastern exotic locations.
Whilst I waited, the receptionist attended to a newly arrived couple who had a reservation, they were shown to their table and handed a menu.
The meal was freshly cooked within a very reasonable time and presented to me in a bag containing separate containers. I paid £9 by card and the manager thanked me.
At home our meal was served, it consisted of tender, succulent pieces of chicken, seasoned rice and a naan each supported by a generous fresh salad.
The quality of service and surroundings excellent. The presentation and quality of our meal, outstanding!
As a budget meal, it was “Simply Gorgeous” A truly 5 star service from beginning to end....

Read moreLast Sunday - my friend wanted to bring somthinh for me. I had tried Rida’s cuisine chicken karahi. It was good. So i recommended her
She brought saag and murg makhani of worth 25 pounds . Oh my goodness. It’s taste ??? What have they done ?? So sweet ??? That they would have forgot to add salt in this. I waited 3 days for my son and huband. Atleast anyone can eat it if I didn’t like its taste.
Unfortunately, had to throw it. As its taste is 😞😞😞 Normally we don’t waste food. We tend to eat and finish even if it’s not tasty.
Apologies for a bad review. But I don’t anyone wasting their hard...
