The Brasserie — Restaurant in Redditch

Food edible, but at the best bar food quality, not restaurant. Nothing home made, everything frozen and reheated, including the soup and desserts. Very overpriced, £10 for a glass of wine. And the staff were like a scene out of Faulty Towers, it wasnt busy but they kept bringing us the wrong food (a starter when were half way through our main, no spoon with the soup or cutlery for desserts). The meal was part of a deal and we were only here one night, if we had been here two we'd have gone elsewhere to eat. Stayed here for 2 nights food was so bland we chose not to have the meal included and go out to a restaurant instead. Had our free meal i had cod and my mrs had beef.... both so bland no seasoning on either of them what so ever which was a shame as her beef was cooked really well just had no flavour. My cod was 100% frozen as it wasnt flakey at all and tasted of nothing. Hotel grounds are nice just think the restaurant lets them down. Especially as they charge £10 for a glass of wine.
