What a great traditional pub in the centre of Whalley. It looks deceptively small from outside but inside it opens up to numerous rooms with seating, a pool room and a lovely beer garden at the back. My first visit yesterday, don't know how I've missed it but I can highly recommend it. Sat with our pints of excellent local Stout with a hint of liquorice to peruse the menu and I chose the Braised Steak daily special and I have to say it was spot on!
