Greggs — Restaurant in Rochdale

Food is always cold. Not sometimes, always. I don't think I've had a single warm meal from here. Not only that but they seem to be making a habit out of overcharging people.

An example would be their chicken bites & wedges meal box. They're supposed to be 3.75 with a drink of choice. The fun part about this is they never have the meal box, but thry have both bites and wedges as seperste items.

Every single other Greggs I've ever been too will put a box of bites and wedges through as a meal box. Every single one. but when I go to this one in Kingsway, every time they charge me 5.60 or more. Its the exact same product, it's just in seperate boxes. It's the exact same portions, and yet you charge me almost double.

And i know you're all busy cooking, but when you're done and you've a minute, would it kill to clean the tables. The last time I visited, every table even the outside ones had a layer of crumbs and slime thicker than a...

Love Gregg's it's cheap and food is well preped, but one thing i have an issues with is passing the till worker really dirty cash "godnose where it's been " for the till worker to turn around &" handle the full breakfast sandwich with dirty hands. Not not sure why this is happening I asked once & the worker exploded I my face. This time I'm writing the review. Hygiene is number one in my world not sure about the worker world. But I expect my sandwich to be made from a worker that has not handled cash. I watched as the till worker collected cash entered it to the till then proceeded to make multiple peoples food. I went into Greggs at Kingsway retail park on Saturday 16th September, there were 4 staff members working. However, one lady named Lynn was doing minority of the work. She was absolutely run off her feet. She was very polite with all customers, gave great customer service. She served everyone fast and efficiently, while also supporting a new member of staff on their first day.

She then went onto cleaning the store, all the while still assisting the staff behind the counter when needed. She also assisted customers while she cleaned and notice a customer steal a drink and approached them about this.

I've never seen anyone working as hard, while keeping up such great manners and professionalism. She definitely deserves credit for the job...
