Such a welcome atmosphere. Pick a seat and they will bring you the menu. I took my Mum in law for dinner. We both ordered gammon with pineapple, chips and peas. The meal was delicious, freshly cooked and plenty of food on the plate. Coffee and tea were good too not cheap budget tea bags or coffee which makes a massive difference. Went in and had to hand collect menu's which was fine. Ordered food quickly and the food came quickly. Food was as ordered. I had the bacon, sausage, hash brown and cheese custom sandwich which was amazing and very filling. I also ordered a strawberry milkshake which came in a jar mug which was a lot fancier than I was expecting. Overall my food and families was lovely Food was warm and sauces were available as well as salt, pepper, vinegar and sugars. No sweeteners that I could see but that's okay. I was not pleased with my visit to cafe express today. First of all, drinks were forgotten and then brought out after food got to the table (after I asked for them). Secondly, my sausage was undercooked and pink in the centre then when I complained and let them know, they were very rude and said "its nearly burnt" and "that is how it's supposed to be cooked" however if this was the case, my mum and boyfriends sausages would've been the same but their's...
