Sidley Recreation Ground — Attraction in Rother

Heart of sidley festival , what a wash out Aswad was the only saving grace . Supposedly a charity event which was run by 18 hours ! Scandalous, the charity was funded by national lottery apparently and 18 hours was a sighed to run the event . Which was mostly security staff 3 empty marquees apparently the marquees were put up the day before and taken down the day after . So security were paid to man empty marquees for 3 days when they were only used for a few hours on the day . So why hire 3 marquees ? I'd love to know the cost ? Waste of charity money , you could have run a day centre In a hall for the elderly for a few years on what was spent! How a private audience with aswad benefitted the heart of sidley I will never know . You couldn't even buy a bottle of water hideous . Would love to see the bill ! How NOT to...

There is an amazing track here and my grandchildren loved it. The older guys gave them encouragement and helped me explain why you have to wait until your turn as it is safer they are young. There is also plenty of grass for children to run around play but they were having a great time watching the older ones doing their stunts and apparently they are definitely super heroes because of what they can do. It made their day. This is a good place...

Great skate park and BMX tracks. The play park could be so much better with a little bit of updating. The place could do with a cafe up there and definitely some toilets. Then it could be an ideal day out for all the family, kids young and old.
