Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Rotherham

After leaving home early and enduring a particularly stressful driving experience due to the M1 roadworks, I stopped at the drive through for a good strong coffee and a loaded flapjack for breakfast. I ordered and drove to the window to pay, searched through my handbag and realised that I had left my phone and purse at home!!! I was so embarrassed and apologetic my morning was not going well, I went to drive off and the beautiful young lady smiled and said don’t worry have it anyway and enjoy the rest of your day. Well I really did enjoy the rest of my day it completely cheered me up and made a difference, I told everyone I met at work about it and decided as soon as I get chance I will pass the kindness on to someone else. Second time buying cofee / Mocha from this drive-through, first time I gave them “the benefit of the doubt” thinking that they must be busy inside and hence she didn’t give attention to the making of my order but second time I’ve seen with my own eyes that lady servicing is only using the half of the coffee that suppose to go in a cup, she simply keeps dropping the other half on the table and uses what’s remained to make the coffees. Never had such tasteless coffee experience from Costa like this before. It’s like you’re just drinking a warmed up milk, no coffee at taste at all.

Management should read these reviews and provide required training to their staff.

This is a great Costa! Not so old but already had refurb. Plenty parking and plenty seats both inside and out. I visit here frequently - not had a bad coffee. Lovely friendly team work here. This place is frequented through the week by lots of pensioners who go for a day out to boundary mill round the corner and business people, stopping on route for lunch and coffee. This place has a decent drive though too. One point to note - I am on O2 and never get a phone signal in here BUT their free WiFi is super easy to log into so I always manage to make Teams meetings and use WhatsApp if I decide to go do some emails from there to break...
