Tasty Bite — Restaurant in Rotherham

What a shambles of a place. Me and my friends came in for lunch, after placing my order, he said we don't accept card payments!! A cafe with no card machine.... i handed over a paper type £20 note instead , legal tender until 30th Sept. The staff member shook his fingers and said "I don't want that", I said to him "I'm sorry, what was that?"

He said, I don't want that note, i said it is a £20 note legal tender. He muttered something and then, arguing that he didnt want it.

I even googled it and had to put my screen in front of the staff members face to proof that it was legal tender, i was persistent and eventually he took it !!

Then the food arrived, my friends prawn SALAD sandwich arrived minus the salad, we were missing our drinks, total joke !!

Don't get me started on how dirty the place was as I went upstairs to use the toilet.

If your looking for somewhere to eat, please find somewhere else. The staff are rude, they don't understand customer service at all and just a terrible experience.

Not been in a year or so and only ever had the breakfasts but it's a dying breed of proper greasy spoon (not an insult, we need more places like this) good value for what you get and you leave with a full belly.
