Another update and normal service has resumed by normal I mean friendly helpful service 👏👏.

Firstly I was impressed upon arriving that the manager was telling a customer about "Meal Deal" which you can have if you're staying at Premier Inn that includes 2 courses, a drink and breakfast for £24.99 obviously there are supplements on some items and currently you can upgrade to extra course for £2, so that was really good customer service.

It's amazing how different things can be at different times, so this time I've come here as my last experience was so good, but unfortunately the service has changed today it was very slow service, I realize that sometimes things don't always go to plan but it'd be nice to know things are running slow due to unforeseen circumstances, having arrived at 1800 my food eventually arrived at 1903 but upon asking where my food was I was told that I'd only been waiting 41 minutes since I ordered and not the hour I said 😂 in this situation that information is not helpful surely it would have been better to say "sorry, I'll look into it", don't fight fire with fire. I'm not going to reduce my stars rating due to this experience as everyone has bad day's sometimes.

Even the staff at the Premier Inn weren't overly happy today, winter blues I guess. 🤷.

As someone who regularly stays at Premier Inns I always choose ones that have Beefeaters as the quality of food is much better. The Brecks did not disappoint the staff were all very friendly and gave an excellent level of service whether it was the evening staff or at breakfast, the food was top notch too, I would definitely recommend this Beefeater and the neighboring...

Came to take our order, took it, then told that 3 things, of which we'd ordered 2, weren't available, leaving us to make another choice very quickly, when we should have been told straightaway which items were not on the menu anymore. Food was ok, children's food was shockingly inadequate. Kids starters....garlic bread was 3 teeny tiny triangles enough to fill a mouse, and nachos were about 5 tortilla chips, a tiny pot with a chopped tomato and a tiny pot with dip. Kids mains.... The pizza was ridiculously small and so bad. The kids are 6, 9 and 11. They know what good pizza tastes like, and this wasn't it. The 6yr old started crying saying he couldn't eat it because it was horrible, so we had to order something else for him. The kid's meals are, I would say, only suitable portion wise for up to age 6ish. Left our kids feeling hungry. The adult mains were ok, nothing special. Ordered desserts, and 2 liqueur coffees to come with desserts. So kids ate desserts, waited and waited waited for coffees. Asked 2 separate waitresses how long they'd be as kids were getting bored of waiting. Waited 30 mins to be finally be told that the order had slipped behind the till so that's why they hadn't been done, even though they were on the same order as the desserts which came. Coffee came, not the best liqueur coffee by any means. All in all, a disappointing experience food wise and service wise. Won't be returning...

Had a buffet breakfast, was very busy so had to queue for things like tea and coffee, the coffeewasnt very hot at all. . Toaster was very, very slow. I had to get this before food arrived, so if you wanted it with your food, it was cold by the time you got your breakfast. Bread and crumpets were going hard and dried out. Little muffins were nice and fresh. They ran out of spoons, so I had to ask for them they weren't on the tables with your knife and fork. The breakfast looked nice when it arrived, but it wasn't very warm, I had half grilled tomato, it wasn't grilled at all, was still raw, the baked beans were luke warm, scrambled egg was over cooked. They didn't have poached eggs like it said on the menu. Sausages weren't very nice they were the cheaper ones so nit much flavour. Only had 2 kinds of yoghurts strawberry and vanilla there was 6 of each out so didn't last 2 minutes. Overall It was poor it said buffet, you had to order what you wanted so couldn't serve your self, you could ask for more if you wanted it, but you couldn't choose your own except for cold buffet items cereal etc. The staff were nice but not enough for the amount of visitors I don't think I will be...
