Rancheros Rodizio Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Rotherham

A very good all you can eat meat restaurant. There are some teething problems though. It took 3 attempts to get a pint of lager that wasn't flat, turned out to be something wrong with the pump. When we arrived we were told about the red/green card process, flip it to green and the servers will bring meat, red and they won't... Then the guy walked off and didn't give us the red/green card so we sat there for ages before I had to track him down and ask him for the cards!

Once things got going though, the meat was flowing and it came thick and fast. All the meat was excellent, tasty and perfectly cooked. The staff were all friendly and helpful. By the end of it I was so full, I could barely stand up lol.

I was disappointed not to get the chicken hearts. It even says on the menu "without chicken hearts it's not a Brazilian rodizio restaurant" then they didn't serve chicken hearts, fail!! Don't put that on your menu then don't serve them! So for that and the farce with the lager, I've only given 4 stars. They haven't been open long so hopefully with a few tweaks this place...

Thought we would try this place out as it's been open a while. Sorry to say we don't think it's worth the money. 6pm on a Monday very quiet restaurant so not rushed off there feet. I will eat anything but my partner wanted just fillet well done.This was explained to the person who sat us down.. (very good at English) After sitting there eating everything else but fillet well done they came with rare fillet. Servers knew every meat they brought but everyone I asked for fillet well done.But it was nowhere to be seen. In the end my partner didn't get what she asked for and at £25 per person we will not risk going there again. We told a waitress of the problem and when I paid I asked if she had spoke to the manager and the only excuse she could give was a language barrier. 3 stars for the English waiters who were told in the beginning what my partner wanted did not exain to there non English speaking staff. 0 stars for the manager as they didn't even bother to come out and have a chat. 4 stars for the food that we did try. 2 stars for value. Excellent place to dine in with family. From the very beginning the team gave a very good response. I asked beforehand regarding Halal provision and they very kindly confirmed that with a notice of substantial time, they are capable of providing halal meat. Moreover they very kindly confirmed that with respect to the religious aspect they will confirm that there is no cross contamination which I found to be very unique and brilliant. The restaurant itself had a nice ambient. The most amazing thing was that the owner notified the entire stuff beforehand about the Halal provision and its importance. We were welcomed warmly. The food was amazing. The meat was cooked to perfection. Very well seasoned, tender and succulent. I would highly recommend the sirloin and rump, however the rest of them menu is praiseworthy as well. I would want to give my heartiest regards to the Team Rancheors and I am lookng forward to paying...
