URBAN Fresh Burgers & Fries — Restaurant in Rotherham

Urban Burger was recommended by a colleague. I popped round for lunch so it wasn't busy.

I had a chicken burger with a beef patty, fries and milkshake.

The beef patty was better than anything that you'll get on the fast food market; the chicken could have been tenderised or brined for a softer 'chew' though. Being able to pick out the veg toppings was a bonus (I had grilled - peppers, onion and mushrooms).

The fries were awesome - again, the best on the the market! I'm able to put away a good portion of food but couldn't finish a regular portion.

I had the salted caramel shake which was delicious and thick but overpriced for the portion size at nearly a fiver.

The staff were friendly and didn't make me feel silly as a first time customer too.

Just got back from visiting. A worthy contender for best burger in the area. Without making too many '5-Gs' (you know what I mean!) comparisons; it is like the aforementioned American eatery but without the inflated prices and free peanuts. Considering that we (2) visited at lunchtime in school holiday season, despite the place being nearly at seating capacity our order was only a 5 or 6 minute wait and was hot and delicious. The fries (a large size, to share) were fresh, super hot, crispy, skin-on and not overly oily. We ordered the paprika seasoning and although it was visually present, we couldn't taste it too much so maybe a few more shakes of the sprinkler, er, Guys ! ;) Overall, I would definitely go again and look forward to sampling some of their...

After visiting another well known chain restaurant in the area recently and being heavily disappointed by the freshness, pre-made/frozen quality of the food we decided to give Urban Burger a go. We found it to be similarly priced to our previous restaurant visit but sooo much better in all aspects, the service was great, the food made to order, piping hot and delicious. Cleanliness of the restaurant matters to these guys, they were actively tables etc whilst we were in and that says a lot about an establishment, especially considering it’s Saturday lunchtime! No dirty tables to be seen.
