I am absolutely appalled and deeply hurt by the service I received today. The way I was treated was not just rude—it was humiliating. I ordered a hot sandwich, a latte, and a chocolate tiffin. When I asked whether the tiffin was vegetarian—since there was no label—the young woman serving me rolled her eyes and shouted across to another worker. They muttered something to each other and then laughed, right in front of me. It felt so dismissive and disrespectful. When my sandwich arrived, it was literally thrown onto the plate, with the top half barely on. I tried to brush it off, but then I had to ask again for my tiffin, even though I had already paid for it. Instead of any acknowledgment, the server placed it on my tray as if it was some kind of free handout, with the same cold, careless attitude. I left feeling incredibly disappointed, upset, and honestly, unwelcome. When you pay for food, you expect basic decency and respect, not to be treated like a burden. Read morePopped in for a drink and quick break while shopping in the Parkgate. We ordered a normal hot chocolate and a white hot chocolate. The lady on the till put the order through wrong and put through two normal hot chocolates despite us clearly asking for one white one and one normal one. The man making the drinks was then incredibly rude and tried to argue with us about it because the receipt was wrong although it wasn't our fault. Eventually he remade it as a white hot chocolate but it was rushed for no reason and when I received it the syrup wasn't mixed in properly and it was lukewarm verging on cold. The man literally refused to acknowledge me when we went back up to complain so i ended up just having to settle woth it. There was only a couple of tables free both of which were dirty. Read more3 times this store has gotten my drink wrong and the final stra was when I tried using their drive-thru and the staff member who was serving drinks was not extremely slow but when I asked him, "why it took nearly 5 minutes to make 2 regular drinks / coffee", his reply was, "What..?" So I took my business elsewhere.
