Hands down one of the best curry houses I've ever been to , that's before we talk about food . Staff are friendly and I mean everyone is greeted with a smile and a friendly welcome like no other . The takeaway has cobra on tap and the opportunity to sit in , have a pint and friendly banter between staff and customers is beyond entertaining.feel like you had a night out just for the atmosphere. I don't live in swinton so I use this place when I visit friends. I've been using this place for about 10 yrs . Food is fantastic never disappointed, obviously this is a British curry house so it catering for British tastes , that said all meat is cooked in gee and the curry is cooked in an open kitchen so all can be seen . The rapour between staff is a joy to see and the locals all talk highly of this place . always meet some characters , couple of cheeky pints , a chat with some of Swintons finest and take your feast home always get popadoms and chutney even when not ordered. I don’t know if I read other comments correctly given for the same place, but having had food three times at this place, I am afraid I found it with the worst quality of food you can find anywhere. I joined my colleagues to dine here three times and every time I did I ended up poorly. I didn’t find their food fresh, the meat was overcooked and microwaved along with the curry sauces. The rice was totally dry and only microwaved which came in small plates that you could tell weren’t washed and cleaned thoroughly, but nearly thrown at the table rather than being served. Popadoms were microwaved and although some were burned they still brought them to the table perhaps to take advantage of big group of conveniently beverage consuming guests. The waiters hygiene could be questionable as some were smelling of body sweat which was disgusting specially when they were trying to stretch over your head passing dishes to the other side of table. I did give this place the most benefits of doubt and went three times over the past 18 months to now protest against it and not joining them for our curry...

Always drive past this place and seen it busy always wanted to try it then lock down happened ☹️☹️ but eventually tried it tonight the food was amazing when we finally ordered it the service is really slow we was sat down for 20 mins before someone took our drink order was taken then they got it wrong so had to send it back then we had to ask someone to take our food order it was not that busy at the time,when we eventually got the food it was really good and plentyful but the service needs looking at as it's not that really good it seems that the people that are going there all the time get the service better then anyone else,the waiters were walking around as they were really busy but they weren't which made me feel annoyed as no one came to our table the only time they came to our table was when I asked someone passing please sort this out .
