Swinton Buffet — Restaurant in Salford

Absolutely appalling. Terrible food, venue, service..... I have no idea how there are any positive reviews?!.

First off let me just say that we went in & our first thoughts were to look at each other with the “let’s get out of here eyes” but alas I say let’s not be snobs it might be a dive but maybe the food is good as it has good reviews........ the food is terrible, but I got a small plate for my 2 year old with fruit & jelly so when I went to the “till” I told them we e just sat down but we’re not staying....... they didn’t ask why or question anything, they just wrote up the bill, I guess even they know how bad it is.

the lace is a dingy old pub, it’s t clean. they use plastic plates. the food area is the size of my kitchen : it gets VERY crowded & uncomfortable there isn’t much choice at all the food is the worst I’ve ever seen

Honestly this is The Worst place I have ever stepped foot in. Just pay an extra few quid & go anywhere else.

I’ve tried really hard to think of a positive & the boy things I can think of is that we were seated immediately with no wait & parking was ok.

If for some daft reason you think I’m ver reacting then just ask to have a look before your seated ....... you will walk out lol.

PS, it’s s bad that they even have printed sheets on the table saying they will charge you £5 for plates of food wasted...... lol, even they know ppl won’t eat their food. How about make nice food,...

I din't get why this buffet has so good reviews. Went here just bcz of there reviews and so disappointed! Alright, where to start? Indoors dsnt look anything like Chinese or restaurant.. Price list-bullshit, cz they dont say anywhere what u will be charged for not having drinks :D and the funniest part - the tems and conditions they have... Omg, its such a joke.. If u enter the room and they say "we will charge you £1,5 for not taking a drink" and you want leave, u cant, bcz u enter the room already :DD and yes, u might be charged £5 for "food waste" PER PLATE even if u don't like food.. Which i believe is just another money making point, cz food wasnt very good. Comparing with other buffets u can find LESS various menu, COLDER food and the taste isnt the best.. If u up to just full your stomach with whatever-its fine.. But even staff - not good enough : cleaning and making dusts next to you while you eating, i found not enough respect as a costumer. Even saw an old man who had a BD:thats alright get a cake by staff while playing HB song, but put 3 candles and literally quickly put it on a table and run away-that's shows the level of 'professionals' working there. Oh and if u want pay by card_whey will charge u and for this :D On the other hand-enjoy if it's only place u able to go. Other wise i woulf offer citty buffet for so...

We are in here as I’m writing this review and the food is absolutely unbearable, we didn’t even eat the meat it looks like food poison, all we’ve eaten is rice and chips lol…. The best thing to eat here is the frozen Iceland chocolate cake they have… the glasses are dirty and the cokes are flat might as well drink water. The staff are rude, one of them literally gave a look of disgust to my face. They don’t know Customer service or just basic manners it’s common sense!!!

The docor is vile, everything is falling apart, it feels and looks like you are in a old fashioned pub/ food on the side. They literally cover holes in the wall with flower pots🤣 what a shame. You are sitting on pub chairs in a “restaurant”… You don’t know who works here because the staff where anything.

The atmosphere is overly crowded and you can’t even hear yourself think… everything is just cheap. The smell, the atmosphere, the food, the people… As soon as you step in you can smell the price🤣😂 fml 🤦‍♀️ They sit customers right in front of the toilet…

One of the customers sitting at the table behind us threw up on the table bless him…. And the mum said to the staff I’m sorry it’s put me off eating and the staff just walked away as she was speaking…
