Yetti's Kitchen — Restaurant in Salford

Save your time and money. I would give 0 starts if possible. The only woman in the restaurant had an attitude like she was giving the food for free or like we came to steal the food and we wasn’t paying customers, she had an attitude for literally no reason and was unprofessional and rude. The food is over priced and horrible. I’m pretty sure it was defrosted microwaved in the back. If this is the case they shouldn’t be charging extortionate prices. The puff puff wasn’t puff it was a weird coconut thing. The beef was disgraceful, 70% was was fat. I didn’t eat it as I feared it would make me sick and my stomach is sensitive. My partner got jerk chicken, plantain and rice and peas - he ate it as he was hungry and loooking forward to the meal which turned out disappointing and ruined the whole evening. It tasted of nothing to put it nicely. I asked for a refund for my meal and the lady is telling me to call her boss, who didn’t answer the phone. my guess is she’s she boss and she’s wasting my time. I recently discovered Yetti’s Kitchen and decided to visit since it’s close to my house. As a Nigerian who loves our cuisine, I was eager to try it out. I arrived around 3:30 PM and had to greet loudly because the only person present was in the kitchen with her back to the front door. Despite this, I decided to give it a try and ordered Jollof rice and chicken to eat in.

To my surprise, my meal was served in a plastic takeaway container, which I found quite odd for a dine-in order. I was then asked for my choice of cutlery, which was rinsed by hand in a sink in front of me before being given to me. Additionally, I felt that the dish should have included a side of salad.

I finished my meal and left without being able to say goodbye to anyone as there was no visible customer service. I had hoped to find a place where I could bring family and friends next time, but unfortunately, I won’t...

Flavour of the food is amazing that’s the main thing. Otherwise I’ve got from here a few times and the portion sizes are always completely different so you don’t know what to expect despite paying the same money and the food isn’t cheap. Not to mention I think this place has given me food poisoning before, must reheat the food several times for it to be that bad. Very common and annoying practice in Afro Caribbean vendors, instead of portioning the food to freeze and defrost one by one they’ll freeze a pot and section one by one so the last person to order from that batch may not make it out alive. The one in Eccles is also wayy too messy to feel comfortable to dine in, absolutely no dine in atmosphere although server was nice.
