Cafe Plus — Restaurant in Sandwell

Table of four of us just walked out. First off, yes they were busy but a simple "be with you in a minute" wouldn't go amiss, as the woman walked literally past my 30yr old son..twice! Eventually saying "are you waiting to be served" as he continued to wait at the counter, why else would he stand there for nearly 5 minutes? Eventually he sat down with us, right by the counter may I add, cos they obviously knew we were waiting...another couple walk in, by now we had had enough....as we stood up to leave...bingo ...she started to take their order. Dreadful customer service...never again.

I ate in and must say for £5.40 it was quality. 2 x sausage, likewise bacon, egg, beans, tomatoes, hash browns, toast and a mug of tea thrown in for good measure. The place is spotless and the service was swift. If I had to be picky, the red and brown sauce are a bit bland with the brown sauce blocked up. Couldn't be bothered to point this out as everything else was spot on. Perhaps the management will read this and make sure its corrected. At the end of the day it's me being picky. 100% sure they would have reacted if challenged. Cracking place with basic but...

Under New Management and highly recommended. The cafe looks fresh clean and bright. The female staff are very warm and welcoming and the food has been amazing. 15/2/25 I had their slow cooked pulled pork and stuffing sandwich 🥪 which was extremely delicious and full to the brim with gorgeous soft juicy pork. 22/2/25 I had a bacon sausage and mushroom sandwich and felt like a good challenge when it came out. Perfectly cook thick bacon and beautiful juicy sausages topped with freshly cooked mushrooms sprinkled in black pepper I was in heaven.
