KFC Birmingham - Old Hill — Restaurant in Sandwell

This branch needs serious overhaul by upper management. It looks the part after being refitted but the service and food is shocking. I’m sure the 5* reviews are the staff posting, no way can anyone be having an excellent experience here. I’ve lived near here for seven years and the complaints are always the same and match my experience, missing items(usually the popcorn chicken, or the wrong side given) too often undercooked food and staff that really couldn’t care about customer service. Just popped in tonight out of sheer necessity after a long work day. My food was on the counter on the staff side, and I was never actually told my order was complete. Had to stretch across the counter pull it across and check it myself. Not a thank you or anything from the staff. As another post has said, sort it out or shut it down and let another franchise...

Food is mixed, but always missing items from box/bucket meals.

Tried this branch 3 times now. First time was fine as I only ordered a wrap. But twice now, I've ordered one of the box meals, and parts of the order are missing. Sauces meant to be in the boxes always seem to be missing and the remaining items are a mixed bag.

Fries look like they were once crisp, but seem to be allowed to go soft and lukewarm before being served. The chicken, while tasting fine, also feels like it's been left out for a while, feeling warm to the touch, rather than hot. The only bits of food that seem yo come out hot are the side pots. The beans and rice feel like the only items that are cooked as they are needed, while the rest seem to be cooked in batches and then left on a hot plate until someone...

We had a large order of many chicken starters, chicken mains and non chicken puddings.

Sundaes, we ordered 2 small and 3 large.

I can only assume there was some kind of fight club like situation in the kitchen. Instead of normal sundaes, which look great - We recieved 5 x sundae "buckets" with a puddle of chocolate sauce on each one; violently deposited on top.

I don't know how the sundaes are made, but from the results, it appears to be some kind of mosh pit in the ice cream/sauce room.

They also forgot the chips in both the kids meals.

Other than that, speed of order was good via drive through, probably because others have also had the shotgun sundae experience, and are, understandably,...
